Sleep is a very complex activity. We all know that So, how does it contribute to weight loss? Sleep fixes the functioning of the body by releasing fixed hormones. It relaxes the body and it works properly. So, sleeping properly does not cause hormonal problems.
There is a hormone which makes us feel hungry. This is the phone. Studies show that people who have difficulty sleeping, produce more of this hormone which in turn increases your cravings and you can keep your body in hand. And, this is more for craving junk food. Then, there is another hormone, leptin, which sends signals to our brain when you should stop eating. When you do not sleep properly, these hormones are produced in small quantities and obviously, when you do not know when to stop eating, you will end up eating more.
So, now that you know that sleep can cause a hormonal imbalance which causes obesity, then you should start taking proper sleep. Regular exercise helps in proper sleep Make sure you fall asleep quickly and sleep deeply according to your body’s needs.
